O Sole Trio Concert

Greenville Community Church proudly presents renowned performance ensemble, O Sole Trio, back from their extensive national tours, in a performance celebrating many of the timeless melodies that transport listeners to other worlds in opera, musical theatre and film.


The concert will take place on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 4:00p.m, in the church sanctuary and is the kick-off event for the church’s thirteenth annual concert series.   It will feature innovative arrangements of classic songs from the Silver Screen, the Great White Way and the Opera House including; “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, “Shenandoah”, “The Prayer”, a “Vesti la Giubba/Send in the Clowns” mash-up and a mesmerizing, one-man duet by the incomparable David Shenton.


O Sole Trio is a vibrant musical ensemble that has brought their exhilarating and unique shows to numerous venues throughout North America and beyond. The trio has garnered rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Their most recent credits include Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Centre, The Redlands Bowl (for an audience of 6,000+) and Ronnie Scott’s in London. The New York based ensemble features the lush voices of soprano Erin Shields and baritone Giuseppe Spoletini, as well as the versatile and virtuosic David Shenton on piano and violin. O Sole Trio's shows are both touching and humorous, featuring a number of programs that breathe new life into timeless classics with their unique and compelling arrangements.

 

Greenville Community Church is located at 270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale, New York. While admission is free, audience members are encouraged to make a freewill offering in support of the series.
